I competed in the 1500 metres in the MMAC Championships at Nuneaton. The road was closed due to carnival so I had to park in a small street at the back of the Stadium called Ribbonfields. This was actually very close to the stadium so no problem there.

I was running on my own to a great extent so really it was a time trial. There was a fair breeze on the home straight which will have affected my performance.

The splits as measured on my Timex Ironman watch were:

1:00.7 - 1:00.7
2:27.9 - 1:27.1
3:58.6 - 1:30.7
5:28.2 - 1:29.5

My official time was 5:27.5
