I did the Pewsey Vale half marathon. - after a fairly hard Park Run yesterday!
I set off easily - noted my heart rate was up for the first mile. Ran steadily until some geezer overtook me then I picked up the pace. I knew there was a Lliswerry runner (female) in front of me so I had to catch her! I actually caught her just before the 10 mile mile at which point she had just started walking! Anyway the increased effort had scuppered me a bit so I just jogged the last 5K - my legs were quite fatigued!
I also met Robert Blake - he's doing a 50K in Borneo soon!
